Child Safety Standards

Our prohibition of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

soulyap strictly prohibits Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) in every form. CSAE is not permitted anywhere on soulyap, under any circumstance, and there is no context in which it is tolerated. Any account involved in CSAE is permanently banned and, where the law requires it, reported to the appropriate authorities.

For the avoidance of doubt, the following are prohibited on soulyap:

This prohibition applies to every part of soulyap without exception, and it cannot be waived by a user, by us, or by any setting in the app.

Age restriction

soulyap is restricted to users aged 18 and over. Age verification is enforced server-side at account creation. Users who do not meet this requirement cannot create an account or submit content. soulyap does not knowingly collect any data from persons under 18.

No reply channel, by design

soulyap has no messaging, no replies, no direct messages, no public profiles, and no way to follow another user. There is no mechanism by which one user can contact another. The absence of a reply channel is a deliberate safety decision rather than a missing feature, and it removes the primary route by which grooming, solicitation and sextortion occur on social platforms.

How we detect and address CSAE

Every piece of user-submitted content is automatically scanned before it is stored or shown to any other user. This scanning runs on every submission without exception — it cannot be disabled, bypassed, or skipped in any environment. If the safety classifier is unavailable, submissions are blocked rather than allowed through.

Where CSAE is detected or reported:

In-app reporting

Every piece of content displayed in the app includes a visible report control, available to every user without requiring an account action or a payment. Any user can report a confession they believe violates these standards, including any content they believe was submitted by, depicts, or sexualises a minor. Reports reach our team directly and are reviewed by a person.

Moderation and human review

All user-submitted content passes through an automated moderation pipeline before reaching any other user. This pipeline runs server-side and cannot be bypassed by the client. Flagged content and reported content is subject to human review. Accounts found to have violated these child safety standards are permanently banned.

Compliance with applicable law

soulyap complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations in the jurisdictions it serves, including mandatory reporting obligations for child sexual abuse material. We respond to lawful requests from law enforcement and child-protection agencies.

Child safety point of contact

Child safety concerns are handled by the soulyap Child Safety Team, which can be reached at nani.ajay@gmail.com.

Reports relating to CSAE are treated as the highest priority and are escalated ahead of all other correspondence. If you are reporting an immediate risk to a child, please also contact your local law enforcement.
